May 12, 2024, marks China's 16th National Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Day. In response to the important directives of the government and PowerChina Jiangxi Electric Power Construction Co., Ltd. regarding disaster prevention, mitigation, and relief, Intelligence & Integrity Energy Technology Co., Ltd. (I&IET) carried out Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Week activities themed "Safety for Everyone, Emergency Response for All, and a Focus on Improving Grassroots Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Capabilities". Wu Wenbao, I&IET's Chairman, General Manager, and Party Branch Secretary, arranged and implemented the event with active participation from various departments. This collaborative effort aimed to improve disaster risk governance and strengthen the line of defense for disaster prevention, mitigation, and relief with a strong sense of responsibility and vigilance.

Strengthening the Foundation by Conducting Thorough Disaster Hazard Inspections and Rectifications

I&IET's leadership team maintained a grassroots focus during the Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Week. They conducted rolling inspections of critical places such as project office sites, living areas, and storage facilities, encouraged employees to actively participate in hazard inspections, and guided them in the identification and reporting of potential disaster risks.

Enhancing Emergency Response to Improve the Ability to Efficiently Address Various Emergencies and Hazards

Targeted emergency training and drills were conducted to improve employees' emergency command and response capabilities. In the company, a desktop drill was held to respond to heatstroke caused by high temperatures. As for each power station, the Shandong Wulian Ningxu Photovoltaic Power Station carried out a landslide emergency drill, while the Julu Tenghui Wind Farm conducted a drill for electric shock incidents. These measures were implemented to ensure that employees could respond efficiently and orderly to various emergencies and carry out emergency response and rescue work.

Highlighting Key Points: Strengthening Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Education and Propaganda

The company prioritized the Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Week by organizing extensive scientific popularization and education activities through large screens, roll-up banners, and special training. The Tianjin Mengjiafangzi Photovoltaic Power Station provided fishermen in the photovoltaic area with disaster prevention and mitigation leaflets and fire extinguisher training to expand the publicity effect. Additionally, I&IET remained committed to improving grassroots safety awareness and emergency response capabilities, encouraging full participation in disaster prevention and mitigation efforts.
