JEPCC Signs an Investment Cooperation Agreement with East Lake High-Tech Development Zone

On June 28, JEPCC and Wuhan East Lake High-Tech Development Zone signed an investment cooperation agreement at the Wuhan Future City.

Based on the principle of mutual benefit and the "green and low-carbon" development philosophy, both parties agreed to leverage their respective professional strengths and market resources to promote the in-depth development of Intelligence & Integrity Energy Technology Co., Ltd. (I&IET), JEPCC's wholly-owned subsidiary in Wuhan, in the new energy sector. By doing so, I&IET's "green value" in the new energy sector and its industrial value would be increased. Attending the signing ceremony were Huang Feng, member of the Party Working Committee and Deputy Director of the Administrative Committee of Wuhan East Lake High-Tech Development Zone, Peng Huakui, Director of Wuhan Future City Construction Service Center, Cao Bin, Head of the Industrial Investment Promotion Office of Wuhan Future City Construction Service Center, and Huang Lin, Deputy Director of the Investment Promotion Bureau of Wuhan East Lake High-Tech Development Zone, as well as representatives from JEPCC, including Li Hualin, member of the Party Committee and Deputy General Manager, and I&IET's leaders like Wu Wenbao, Chairman and General Manager, Huang Xiaohong, Deputy General Manager and Chief Engineer, and Li Yan, GM Assistant. They had thorough discussions on future cooperation direction, possible opportunities, and challenges.

At the meeting, Huang Feng warmly welcomed Li Hualin and his delegation. He then elaborated on East Lake High-Tech Development Zone's economic and social development achievements and the latest updates on the planning and construction of Wuhan New City. According to his introduction, East Lake High-Tech Development Zone is actively seizing opportunities to build a national scientific and technological innovation center in Wuhan, develop provincial and municipal key industries, and drive the growth of the Wuhan metropolitan area. The zone aspires to become a globally influential "Optics Valley of the World". He also expressed his hope that JEPCC would continue to strengthen its presence in East Lake High-Tech Development Zone and play its leading role as a central enterprise. He looked forward to elevating "central-local cooperation" to new heights and setting a new benchmark with JEPCC. Meanwhile, he promised that the zone would strive for a better business environment, provide comprehensive support services, and promote collaborative innovation to fully back JEPCC's development in the zone.

Li Hualin remarked that as a national team and vanguard in China's new power system, JEPCC is currently actively participating in the national strategy of "carbon peaking and carbon neutrality" and is committed to building a new power system centered on new energy. He looked forward to cooperating with East Lake High-Tech Development Zone to achieve the goal of green, low-carbon, high-quality, and integrated development while leveraging I&IET's strengths in low-carbon energy technology services and digital operations.

This investment cooperation agreement marks the beginning of a new chapter in the mutually beneficial partnership between JEPCC and East Lake High-Tech Development Zone, based on complementary strengths and government-enterprise synergy. Both parties, driven by a shared vision for a green, low-carbon, and intelligent society, and a strong alignment with I&IET's sustainable development strategy, will engage in practical cooperation in areas such as technology innovation, market expansion, product promotion, and joint research and development.
