IIET Launches 2024 Labor Competition and Innovation Campaign

On May 20, Intelligence & Integrity Energy Technology Co., Ltd. (I&IET) held a launch meeting for the 2024 Labor Competition and Innovation Campaign, setting the stage for a full-scale push towards key tasks. The meeting, chaired by Wu Wenbao, Chairman, General Manager, Party Branch Secretary, and Chairman of the Labor Union of I&IET, aimed to thoroughly implement the directives of the group company and JEPCC. It also sought to inspire enthusiasm among employees to ensure the high-quality completion of the annual key tasks and targets.

Xie Hailong, GM Assistant and Director of the Production Management Center, read the implementation plan for the 2024 New Energy O&M Labor Competition, outlining key areas of focus for the competition. Li Yan, GM Assistant and Manager of the General Management Department, delivered a pep talk.

At the meeting, representatives from various projects and winners of the 2023 Labor Competition shared their experience. They expressed their commitment to using the competition as a platform to closely follow the work deployment and participate with the highest standards, best performance, and strictest requirements, all in support of the company's high-quality development. Xie Hailong and Li Yan led the participants in a collective oath-taking ceremony, while Wu Wenbao presented flags to the vanguard of Party members and the youth shock brigade.

In his closing remarks, Wu Wenbao emphasized that all participating units should uphold and carry forward the company's longstanding tradition of labor competitions and recognize their significance. He called for firm beliefs and responsibilities to overcome challenges and achieve long-term success.

First, it is crucial to fully recognize the importance and urgency of the labor competition and strengthen the organization and leadership of the event. Each business team should align the competition with their specific circumstances, ensuring proper promotion and mobilization. Through digital platforms, the competition mechanism will be further refined, helping to identify and cultivate new talent and establish standardized, normalized, systematic, professional, branded, and digital O&M management practices.

Second, the labor competition should be used to deepen the development of the industrial workforce and write a new chapter of responsibility and practical work. The company should fully leverage its role as a central enterprise to serve as a model, making every effort to advance the reform of the industrial workforce in depth. The continuous implementation of the regular mechanism of "Handling Affairs in a Down-to-Earth Manner for the People" will further stimulate the enthusiasm, initiative, and creativity of the employees and cadres in pursuing entrepreneurial efforts.

Third, the labor competition should be a platform for cultivating and selecting role models to amplify the resounding voice of labor's glory. Special attention should be paid to identifying outstanding models and exemplary individuals from the grassroots frontline and in the completion of difficult and risky tasks, promoting the spirit of model workers, labor, and craftsmanship. Efforts should be made to maintain a vigorous and positive attitude across the company and foster a strong atmosphere of competition, learning, catching up, helping each other, and striving to surpass expectations.

Fourth, the labor competition should serve as a bridge to foster positive energy for hard work and entrepreneurship. The competition's incentive mechanisms must be effectively implemented to continually spark innovation and work enthusiasm among employees, drive the company and its employees to form a community of shared interests, careers, and destinies, and enhance their sense of fulfillment, happiness, and security.
